Before joining ICN\, she played a key role in founding the company at Exclusible\, a gaming and immersive tech studio. She worked with major brands such as Vogue Business\, TikTok\, and Mercedes-Benz\, led more than 200 digital experiences and generated over €10 million in NFT sales. \nAt 25\, Sara was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in Portugal for her contributions to web3 and blockchain. She is also an author and educator\, sharing her insights at events such as Paris Fashion Week and the web3 Summit in Milan. In 2024\, she published a book on web3\, gaming and the rise of virtual worlds. \n\n

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Porto and has been a senior researcher at INESC TEC since 2011. His research interests include cybersecurity\, information and network security\, anomaly and intrusion detection\, cloud security\, digital forensics\, and data center technologies. \nDescription\n\nThis talk aims to explore some of the most common cyberattacks and demonstrate how vulnerabilities are exploited. Using a simple experimental setup consisting of two virtual machines—a “victim” and an “attacker”—practical examples of these attacks will be presented. The talk will outline key phases of a cyberattack\, including reconnaissance\, exploitation\, and post-exploitation activities. Each phase will be illustrated through practical demonstrations\, showing how attackers identify targets\, exploit vulnerabilities\, and maintain access. Defensive strategies and countermeasures for each phase will also be discussed. The session will conclude with key insights and awareness about offensive and defensive strategies\, offering practical advice for improving cybersecurity in real-world scenarios. \n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Área: Transformação Digital | Data Fim de Candidaturas: 30 de setembro de 2025 \n  \nO Programa de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR) define um conjunto de investimentos e reformas que devem contribuir para as seguintes dimensões: resiliência\, transição climática e transição digital. A Componente 16 (C16) – Empresas 4.0\, integrada na Dimensão da Transição Digital\, decorre do Plano de Ação para a Transição Digital (PATD) que é a reforma que lhe está subjacente. Esta componente visa reforçar a digitalização das empresas de modo a recuperar o seu atraso face ao processo de transição digital em curso. A concretização deste objetivo global é subsidiária dos seguintes objetivos específicos: \n\nReforçar as competências digitais dos trabalhadores do setor empresarial;\nModernizar o modelo de negócio das empresas bem como os seus processos de produção\, incluindo a desmaterialização dos fluxos de trabalho;\nCriar canais digitais de comercialização de produtos e serviços;\nIncorporar tecnologias disruptivas nas propostas de valor das empresas;\nEstimular o empreendedorismo de base digital.\n\nDa referida Componente 16 faz parte o Investimento 02 (C16-i02) – Transição Digital das Empresas\, onde se inclui a medida “Internacionalização via E-commerce” que visa dinamizar as exportações online de produtos e serviços portugueses nos mercados internacionais\, aprofundando a promoção do comércio eletrónico para PME novas exportadoras e a diversificação de mercados de exportação para empresas com experiência internacional consolidada\, sendo no que respeita a esta Orientação Técnica\, especificamente investimentos associados à sensibilização\, capacitação e consultoria às PME. \n  \nPara informação detalhada clique aqui. \n
